Tarot Card Reading for February 10 & 11

This week started with a Full Moon in Leo, which can bring out some hefty energies when it comes to how we express ourselves. Leo likes to be the center of attention and on the Full Moon, the focus should really be on ourselves and how we are working to achieve the goals we set for the moon cycle.

When I was shuffling for this reading, I found it odd that the Strength card fell out. Strength is the tarot card that represents the zodiac sign of Leo. But before I fully get into it, lets start at the beginning.

I prefer to use a signifier card and when doing general readings, I feel The Fool tarot card is fitting as it represents everything and nothing. The state that we are in when we are just beginning.

I found The Fool in the stack that represents emotions, desires, hopes, wishes, making plans, and our intuition and psychic abilities. So over the next few days, it looks like we are going to be focused inward, which is fitting for the timing of the Full Moon.  The Full Moon is when we look back on the past two weeks and determine if the course we are on is working, or if adjustments need to be made.

The cards that were pulled were Strength, 7 of Wands Reversed and the King of Wands.

Strength tells us that this Full Moon is going to be important to focus on ourselves and make sure that we are continuing to work on ourselves. Strength represents mastery over something and although we feel that we have achieved mastery and we know everything there is to know, we also have to realize that Strength is only the 8th card out of 22.. We may have achieved mastery over this one thing, but now we have to make sure that we implement the mastery in other areas of our lives.

The second card was the 7 of Wands Reversed. You've been on the offensive and fighting to hold your ground lately, but you may not be winning this battle. The battle is most likely about something that embarrasses you and may be causing you some anxiety.

The final card that was pulled was the King of Wands. This king is very sure of himself. He knows what he likes and isn't afraid to go after it. He's got charisma and people like that about him. They follow him because of it and because he always has good ideas and knows how to get there. There is always honesty when this card shows up. This king can represent a masculine energy that is dark and lithe, whether it's a person in your life, or a part of you. It's time to be honest. What strike me about this particular king is that at his feet are 2 lions. A lion is also in the first card Strength, and is also the symbol for the zodiac sign, Leo.

Lions tend to represent power and strength, a show of authority, and being loud and proud, knowing that you are fully capable of handling anything that challenges you.

This is the energy that is needed in the next few days. You've mastered the ability to feel self confident and proud, knowing that you are capable of handling whatever life throws at you. At this time, there may be something that is making you anxious and you may be a bit embarrassed about it, but you need to be honest with yourself or with the masculine energy that is represented by the King of Wands.

Don't forget to check back on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for your next reading!
